Membership Categories

CATEGORY 01

Full Member

MNCEP

For holders of postgraduate degrees in Educational Psychology, School Psychology, or any approved allied discipline. Full members enjoy all voting rights and participation privileges of NCEP.

Qualification Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Educational Psychology or School Psychology
  • Or postgraduate degree in an approved allied discipline
  • Completed membership application form
  • Payment of dues and levies as prescribed
  • Active participation in NCEP activities
CATEGORY 02

Fellow (Highest Honour)

FNCEP

Awarded to distinguished full members who have demonstrated exceptional and sustained contributions to the field of educational psychology and to NCEP. Fellowship is a prestigious honour limited to not more than 20% of the full membership roll.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be an existing full member of NCEP
  • Demonstrated exceptional contribution to educational psychology in Nigeria
  • Significant contributions to NCEP's growth and activities
  • Nominated by a Fellow; considered by the Committee of Fellows
  • Subject to limit of 20% of full membership roll
CATEGORY 03

Student Member

Student NCEP

For postgraduate students currently enrolled in Educational Psychology or allied disciplines. Student membership is the ideal first step into a lifelong professional community, offering mentorship access and conference participation from day one.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled postgraduate student in Educational Psychology or allied discipline
  • Application form endorsed by supervisor or a senior NCEP member
  • Attendance at at least one NCEP conference or activity
  • Payment of student membership dues

Qualifying Academic Backgrounds

NCEP welcomes graduates not only from Educational Psychology and School Psychology, but also from a range of allied disciplines that contribute to our mission of improving education across Nigeria.

All applicants must hold a postgraduate degree (Master's or doctoral level) in one of the disciplines listed.

  • Pay all prescribed dues and levies promptly

Step-by-Step Application

Check Your Eligibility

Confirm that you hold a postgraduate degree in Educational Psychology, School Psychology, or one of the six approved allied disciplines. Student members must be currently enrolled.

Complete the Application Form

Fill out the NCEP membership application form. Student members require endorsement from a supervisor or senior NCEP staff member.

03
Submit & Pay Dues

Submit your completed form to the General Secretary or Financial Secretary along with the applicable membership dues and levies.

04
Attend an NCEP Activity

All new members are encouraged to attend the next available NCEP conference, AGM, or workshop to be formally inducted into the community.
